Abstract
The article considers the issues of ensuring valid results obtained during the sociological research. It describes the methods of calculating the size of representative sample, as well as of determining its quantity structure on the basis of stratification. The article gives an example of practical application of these methods by the healthcare organization during conducting the sociological research in customers expectations regarding the healthcare services quality. Meanwhile it is pointed out that the described methods don't depend on economic sector and can be apply during conducting other sociological research.
