Abstract
The purpose of the article is the formation of a rational definition of «management accounting». In the article there are some reviews of existing definitions used by the practical experience of the author, a matrix model management functions in the company, the concept of the accounting system, instead of disruptive concepts of management accounting and the structure of the accounting system.
