Abstract
With the dawn of Industrialization the environmental hazards had increased drastically to overcome the disposal of hazard waste, it is better to transfer the waste into construction activity. From the survey it had been evaluated that 30% of ceramic production converted into waste. As per the observed scenario an approach had been made to accommodate the waste as substitute to conventional aggregate. Under the concept the properties of conventional coarse aggregate and ceramic waste were mapped from which test results indicate that compressive strength and the split tensile strength of sanitary ceramic waste coarse aggregate concrete at 100% replacement level is decreased by 47.5%, 42% and 35%, 55% while at 50% replacement level it reduced by 24%, 20% and 17%, 21% in M-20 and M-30 mix respectively compared to conventional concrete strength characteristics.
