Some weed species are bio-indicators of aquatic pollution. The diversity of macrophytes was represented by 13 species from the Pond. Oscillatoria, Spirulina, Mycrocystis, Navicula, Ulothrix, Scenedesmus, Coelastrum, Ankistrodesmus indicates organic enrichment.
