Abstract
UPU are an actual and still unresolved problem of pediatrics. Often, the pathology of other organs masks the manifestation of a defect and makes diagnosis difficult. This article presents clinical and instrumental manifestations of the open arterial duct, depending on its diameter in children of the first year of life, the leading risk factors have been identified and recommendations for the elimination of controlled factors have been provided.
