Abstract
Tropical pyomyositis is a subacute, deep, bacterial infection of muscle and soft tissues. It is termed as tropical as prevalence have been reported mostly in tropical areas though the incidence of pyomyositis is increasing in non-tropical areas as per the literature. It is usually caused by Staphyloccus aureus. Here we present a case of tropical pyomyositis caused by an unusual pathogen.
