Abstract
Competence approach to professional development of specialist is in a high demand now that shown by the analysis of the latest research in the field of lifelong professional education. Unsolved problem is the quality of the assessment of professional competence of the pedagogue. Advanced training of pedagogical employees of VEE in the course period is based on modular units in Bilotserkivsky institute of lifelong professional education. Methods of content development competence modules based on the presented model of competency of the teacher VEE is introduced in the article and include three levels: basic, profound, creative. The approximate assessment of the competence of teachers of vocational schools is shown.
