Abstract
This article is an analysis of the literature data on the study of regenerative abilities of the liver. In the past 5 years, cells involved in the regeneration of hepatocytes have been studied, and there has been an opening of perivascular cortical cells. The clinical use of SC of the liver in the treatment of cirrhosis and the involvement of these cells in the formation of hepatocellular carcinoma are considered. All information is based on the latest research of scientists in the field of studying the liver stem cells.
