Innovative directions of e-learning development

The actual problems of modernization and improvement of the quality of higher nursing education in Ukraine in the context of its European integration on the basis of theoretical and empirical research are analyzed in the article. Innovative tendencies of the development of e-learning, which are based on modern information and communication technologies, are analyzed. The current state and prospects of e-learning development in Ukraine are shown. Features and prospects of using mass open online courses (MOOC) in university study programs are considered; modern social Internet services, aimed at use in electronic learning, have been demonstrated. The most popular open Internet services used in electronic distance education are given.
