Abstract
In the article the expediency of considering the cost management of enterprise process from the positions of the evolution concept of marketing is based. The essence of the value chain concept is highlighted and its improvement by precedence of effective marketing to all other processes at the enterprise is proposed. The necessity of orienting the activity of a modern enterprise for the production of necessary and profitable goods is proved. Before doing production of products, to conduct market research in order to identify unmet consumer needs is recommended.
