Abstract

The article is an attempt to analyze the problem of juvenile delinquency delinquent behavior and motives. The properties have been interpreted that includes socio-demographic profile of children and adolescents who are prone to commit crimes. In scientific work it has been examined who is the offender, what is its specificity, what is its role in the crime, how to influence it, to prevent more criminal acts. However, the category considered social factors that affect the formation of the individual juvenile offender. The study highlights the role of the family in shaping the behavior of children and adolescents. The specifics of juvenile crime and its causes, and specific response as it has, among other things, historical and socio-cultural roots, which, in turn, motivates to identify national traditions of social adjustment and educational prevention of juvenile crime. Person juvenile offender - particularly the heaviest object and reeducation. The purpose of the article: highlight individual socio-demographic characteristics of children and adolescents who are prone to commit crimes; describe the category of social factors that affect the formation of the personality of the minor. Objective: To identify the characteristics that includes socio-demographic profile of children and adolescents who are prone to commit crimes; The category of social factors affecting the formation of the person of a minor; highlight the role of the family in shaping the behavior of children and adolescents. Based on the agreement on cooperation of the Faculty of Psychology, History and Sociology of Kherson State University Office of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region in November 2015 a study was conducted to determine the sociodemographic characteristics of juvenile offenders who were at the time of the study in the Kherson prison . From questionnaires were working 30-optantiv minors, meeting with them no legal regulatory framework prohibiting prison. The material leads to the following conclusions. The results of the study are the following socio-demographic profile of children and adolescents who are prone to commit crimes. Overall, optanty almost all minors, were brought up in complete families or families with a single mother, with the average standard of living their own homes. A significant number of respondents juveniles consume alcohol or drugs. The fourth of the respondents have a father who was sentenced to prison. In the study almost one third of these children were taught a solid four honors were there. The social character of the offender can be considered as a member of society, social groups or new communities, social media as typical features. The research does not claim to final resolution of the stated problem and does not cover all issues related to the determination of crime adolescents. In view of the promising areas for further work are seen in the search, development and implementation in Ukraine of innovative forms and methods of prevention of juvenile crime offenders.
