PROFESSIONAL SKILL IMPRUVEMENT OF PHYSICAL TRAINING TEACHERS IN THE SYSTEM OF POSTGRAGUATE EDUCATION

Abstract
Recent studies and publications show that the important task of modern education system is to improve skills of physical training teachers who have insufficient abilities to work in conditions that require independent decision-making teaching. We know that the required practice skills to design educational process independently and reasonably may be formed during a long time and incompletely after higher education had been finished. Clearly, to prepare a perfect teacher of physical training, using traditional approaches of education, is difficult. According to the theory of systematic approach it is advisable at first to study the structure of professional skills of physical training teachers according to modern standards, which will allow the correction of its elements. The postgraduate education of teacher, which is well developed in Ukraine, gives the best possibilities for this correction. It was assumed that the formation of the content of postgraduate education is possible, if the structure of professional skills of teachers of physical culture is studied. This will justify the areas of improvement of its individual elements. Studying the structure of professional skills of physical training teachers was conducted by selecting the most informative criteria for their evaluation and by application of the factor analysis method with subsequent rotation of factors utilizing the varimaks-test. After pre-selection of 29 indexes that characterize the theoretical, methodological and physical fitness of physical training teacher, the factor analysis of correlations was performed. The indicators that characterize the abilities and skills to perform curricular and extracurricular classes had the highest factorial load in the structure of the teacher' s professional skill. We showed that none of the indicator' s groups was determinant in improving the professional skills of physical training teachers, but we identified their factor inputs to the overall result. This proves that the professional development of physical training teachers in system of postgraduate education is a complex problem. It was established that the professional development of physical training teachers in system of postgraduate education should have an integrated approach, which ultimately will improve their professional competences. Further studies of the structure and main directions of improvement of the professional skill of physical training teachers are promising to improve the system of postgraduate education.
