Abstract

The article analyzes innovative information technology as a means of implementing social initiatives and projects. Crowdfunding and crowdsourcing are a reflection of trends to maximize the use of new information technologies in all spheres of public activity. Crowdsourcing is considered as technology, intellectual collaboration of people, connected by social networks, aimed at creating a common intellectual products, network integration knowledge of a large number of persons. Types of crowdsourcing have been disclosed: crowd storming (generation of new ideas and commentary); crowd recruiting (selection for the institutions human resources by recruiting social media); crowd voting (vote on the various options proposed solutions, without the justification of their choice or offering other options); crowdfunding. The characteristics of crowdsourcing are: joint work in collective projects; access to external resources that are not owned by the company; attract skilled professionals, experts in their field; freedom of creativity in the framework of the task; immaterial and material motivation of participants crowdsourcing projects; voluntary participation in crowdsourcing projects; presence of a single crowdsourcing platform using information and communication technologies; creating a favorable environment for the development of creative and communication skills of participants crowdsourcing projects; exchange ideas, information and knowledge with interdisciplinary areas; attracting professionals who work in the economic, social, cultural, legal, scientific and other spheres. Crowdfunding has been characterized as a way to collect funds for charities, social projects and socially significant commercial launch. Principal role in a popularize of crowdfunding play the social networks. Ukrainian crowdfunding platforms often organized by Western standards, more focused on the humanitarian, social, environmental projects, which cost relatively low. Crowdfunding is characterized by the presence of many sobjects, microfinance, social finance global space, networked organization, frugality. Development of crowdfunding is complicated by: the lack of legislation governing crowdfunding as a separate activity, limited ability to easily and quickly transfer funds via the Internet; weak development of crowdfunding business due to low confidence in others.
