Problems of the labor market in Ukraine and directions of state regulation of employment of the population

In the article are researched the main indicators of the labor market and their dynamics on the basis of comparison and statistical analysis methods, there ara the number of economically active, employed, unemployed population, level of employment and unemployment. Are revealed the main tendencies of the labor market development in Ukraine and the main problems hindering its effective functioning. Are researched the experience of leading countries in the field of employment regulation. Are substantiated the main measures of the state policy of Ukraine, the main focus of which are social support of noncompetitive strata of the population, promotion of microenterprise development and the formation of competitive human capital.
