RESOURCE POTENTIAL OF А. A. ZAKHARENKO’S PEDAGOGIC FOR THE PRESERVATION OF HEALTH IN GROWING GENERATION

Introduction. The article highlights the most important state problem of modern times – the necessity of preservation and strengthening of health in growing generation. The topicality of the formation in children of life skills which promote preservation of physical, social, psychological and spiritual health is underlined. In the article it was emphasized on the feasibility of usage in pedagogical practice the experience of work of Sakhnivska school staff under the guidance of А. A. Zakharenko in the context of the mentioned problem. Purpose. To prove the topicality of preservation health in growing generation. To reveal the essence and structure of the concept “health”. To present life skills which promote preservation of physical, social, psychological and spiritual health. To introduce author's interpretation of the concepts “health” and “healthkeeping life skills”. To reveal healthkeeping aspects of pedagogical heritage of А. A. Zakharenko. Results. The author's interpretation of the concepts “health” and “healthkeeping life skills” is presented. The essence of life skills which promote preservation of physical, social, psychological and spiritual health and have to be formed in children are revealed. Healthkeeping backgrounds of pedagogical work of А. A. Zakharenko in Sakhnivska school are defined. The forms of organization of work with children in the center of health and cultural-educable center of Sakhnivska school, which provide formation of life skills, which promote preservation of physical health are presented. Factors of preservation of social health, which children meet during their lifetime, are outlined. The guidelines given by А. A. Zakharenko to children with the aim of formation in them the skill of effective communication are presented. Orientation of Zakharenko's pedagogics on formation of indifferent to human pain and happiness child's personality is underlined n the article. The article reveals the work by А. A. Zakharenko as for the creation at school the atmosphere of composure, calmness, safeness, formation in children positive attitude towards themselves, other people, to life perspectives. Inseparable feature of life of “school over Ros” is respect of pupils towards themselves, their desire to self-expression as important factors of maintaining and strengthening of psychological and spiritual health in growing generation is analyzed. Created by adults and pupils natural environment of Sakhnivska school, namely arboretum, “alive chemistry” – studying area in shape of circle with a lot of sections, where pupils grew medicinal plants, prepared special treatment-and-prophylactic tea “Bouquet of Overros” and set of herbs and flowers for youth drink “Pastushka” is presented. The article highlights valuable for modern and future generation pieces of advice of wise Pedagogue as for the health maintaining. Originality. For the first time pedagogical heritage of А. A. Zakharenko is analyzed from the position of usage of its resource potential in the process of formation of life skills, which promote preservation of physical, social, psychological and spiritual health of modern growing generation. Conclusion. А. A. Zakharenko's wise thoughts are still up-to-date. We consider that experience of work of Sakhnivska school in the context of maintaining health in growing generation is advisable to transfer in the practical work of modern secondary schools of Ukraine.
