THE TECHNOLOGY OF HEALTHY LIFESTYLE FORMATION IN STUDENTS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL SPECIALTIES

Abstract

Introduction. Health of the young generation of the nation is a social value. Among young people there is a growing number of diseases associated with unhealthy lifestyle: poor nutrition, insufficient physical activity, harmful habits and etc. The problem is not fully reported in the literature, is new and relevant in psycho-pedagogical science. Purpose. An important condition for students' healthy lifestyle is the application of technology in training and develop the relevant knowledge and skills. In the university educational process it is expedient to apply the technology of healthy lifestyle formation among students. Special attention should be given to the practice of professional training of psychologists. Methods. The research involved students who receive specialty “Psychology” (90 people). Age of survey participants is from 18 to 50 years. The phenomenon of a healthy lifestyle as part of the professional training of psychologists was analyzed; the level of students' awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle was assessed. The motives that encourage students to maintain a healthy lifestyle were investigated. Results. Students have low level of skills of a healthy lifestyle. The ideas for introducing the technology of its formation in the training of psychologists were formulated. Originality. In the process of development the technology of healthy lifestyle formation among the future specialists in psychology our research focused on addressing a number of tasks. The structure of pedagogical technology of healthy lifestyle formation was developed. In the process of professional training of psychologists this technology offered for the first time. Three units application of the technology were identified: diagnostic, informational and organizational. The methods and means of pedagogical work within each unit were offered. Conclusion. The obtained data allow to confirm the need for knowing the youth with knowledge on healthy lifestyle and sustainable ability of compliance. The technology of healthy lifestyle formation involves rooting sustainable useful skills, the implementation of certain rules that ensure a harmonious development, high performance, emotional balance and health of a future specialist. In the future further research – active implementation of the developed technology, selection and application of methods of diagnostics of its results, expanding the scope of its use for students of different specialties.
