Abstract

Introduction. Recently, in the world there is rapid development of computer and network technologies that are being actively implemented in all areas of human life. In this connection the question arises not only efficient processing and transmission of certain information and its secure storage, secure transmission of confidential information. Therefore the profession specialist on cyber security now is widespread. So, before universities is becoming a new challenge – preparing highly competitive and global labor market specialists able to solve complex problems and specialized practical problems of information security. The problem of professional orientation of teaching mathematical disciplines future specialists in cyber security is relevant because the professional knowledge of all IT-specialists in the relevant fields of applications is based on fundamental mathematical preparation. Purpose. Make analysis of the main approaches to the definition of «professional orientation training» and identify the role of mathematical disciplines in the system of professional training of future specialists in cyber security. Methods. To achieve this purpose we used theoretical methods – analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization and systematization of theoretical information on scientific-methodical and psycho-pedagogical literature on the study. Results. In methodological and psycho-pedagogical literature there are different approaches to defining the essence of professional orientation. For one thing professional orientation is the system of motivations, interests and needs, which affect the positive attitude of the individual to future profession. On the other side, professional orientation is that the problem of selection of educational content based on intersubject communications of general scientific and special disciplines. Considering the professional orientation of mathematical preparation of students as a way to improve the professional training of future specialists, we consider the need for close communication mathematics teaching to the needs of the profession. Students are not aware of the importance of mathematics in their future profession and therefore poorly motivated to study subjects. This leads to a lack of proper mathematical basis to study special subjects. It means there is no continuity between mathematical and profiling subjects. The important factor in the quality of mathematical preparation aspect of professional orientation is to increase the motivation of learning that can be achieved through the use of active learning, enhancing application component and interdisciplinary integration. Conclusion. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical research on professional orientation of training different disciplines has allowed to clarify the essence of the concept of «professional orientation» in the context of mathematical training of future specialists in information security organization, by which we mean the orientation of such content, forms, methods and means of training, to form professional knowledge, skills and abilities of future specialists in cyber security, which reflect the mathematical knowledge and skills.Further research can be directed to analysis the effectiveness of intersubject communications mathematical disciplines and other disciplines of professional training of future specialists in cyber security.
