Abstract

The paper reveals features of prevention and correction of unconstructive and destructive models of the psychosocial development in adolescence. Type of psychosocial development is the result of the interrelation of age and individual features of the psychosocial development in formalization (or establishment) of individual way of resolving conflicting trends of growing up (a dichotomy of psychosocial development). The main types of psychosocial development of adolescents (teens) are crystallize in a model of growing up, which can has constructive, harmonious (optimal solution of dichotomies), unconstructive (one-sided focus on yourself or other people) and destructive disharmonious character (imbalance, disintegration, systemic psychosocial crisis). The presence of problems and strains of the psychosocial development of youth requires purposeful and systematic psychoprophylaxis in the unity of its three levels - primary, secondary, tertiary considering age and individual features of psychosocial development. Effective influence of the implemented correctional-developmental program to optimize and improve indicators of the psychosocial development has been proven. The results of research are allowing realization of integrated approach to psychological support, prediction and correction of unproductive ways and crisis manifestations of development in adolescence.
