Abstract

The frequency of developing of pneumonia in the postoperative period was studied based on the ex- perience of providing medical assistance to the injured with a gunshot wound of the stomach in the armed conflicts of r ecent decades. It is shown that an extent of blood loss plays an important role in the pneumonia occurrence in the in- jured. Patterns of emergence of fatal outcomes in the injured with pneumonia, in case of different extents of the blood loss, regressive an d progressive peritonitis.
