THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF THE STUDENTS STUDYING IN THE SPECIALTY «SOCIAL WORK»

Abstract

Introduction. It is shown that the system of professional training of a social worker, if compared with educational systems of the training of other specialists, is the most labor-intensive and requires enormous socio-pedagogical resources and constant attention as to its improvement and development. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the system of professional training of the students studying in the specialty «social work». The methods of research are based on the synergetic approach, as well as on theoretical and methodological procedure of the analysis of the problem field from the general to the specific – from outlining the peculiarities of the activities to its specific aspects and the professional-personality characteristics of the social worker, ending with integral indicator of his professionalism – the professional readiness. The results of the research are the integral synergetic system of professional training of the prospective social worker. It is shown that the system of professional training of a social worker, if compared with educational systems of the training of other specialists, is the most labor-intensive and requires enormous socio-pedagogical resources and constant attention as to its improvement and development. This system consists of educational goals, the major educational competencies, criteria and indicators of the professional readiness of the prospective social worker. The originality of the scientific results consists in that that the system of professional training of the prospective social worker being the most formal and general system of his professional training (consisting of three educational goals, the major educational competencies, as well as the criteria and indicators of the professional readiness of the prospective social worker for his activities) reveals the synergetic nature stemming from the integral unity and interconnectedness of its aspects capable of mutually reinforcing each other. Conclusions and prospects of the study. So, for the first time in the theory and practice of social workers' professional training an integral synergetic system of this process is substantiated. The prospects of the study are related with grounding the functional and logical links between the aspects of the prospective social worker professional training system, the analysis of which will provide the opportunity to create certain preconditions for improving the process of professional training in the mentioned direction.
