The article highlights the theoretical aspects of educational management process of informatization. The concept and formation peculiarities of management of information technology introducing in the educational process have been analyzed. The main advantages of education informatization have been determined. The attention is focused on improving the quality of education, which is one of the main tasks of the modern state policy in the sphere of education. The article determines the significance of educational process management informatization and the education system as a whole. The division of administrative tasks according to areas of activity in a higher education establishment has been suggested. The major modern demands that stand before the head of an educational establishment have been described and analyzed.
