Abstract
The construction industry worldwide is using natural resources and disposing construction and demolition debris in landfills in very large quantities. These practices are not only damaging the environment but are considered unsustainable. The excessive utilization of aggregate for concrete production leads to excessive exploitation of natural aggregates and environmental degradation from quarrying activities.
