THE INFLUENCE OF LATENT FACTORS OF ECONOMIC INDICATORS OF STATE DEVELOPMENT

The authors of the article are the first to apply mathematic tools of multivariate statistical analysis (in particular, factor analysis) to analyze economic regularities of state development, to apply a basic model and the fundamental theorem of factor analysis. In order to determine the influence of latent factors on economic indicators of state development the authors examine their correlations with geopolitical characteristics. The received regularities were supported by historical facts of the development dynamics of numerous states. The proposed method can be applied by economists, sociologists, and political scientists both for analyzing the past and for designing optimization models of state development.
