SYSTEM-RELATED CAUSE OF ECONOMIC CRISES

The article deals with one of the possible mechanisms of inducing an economic crisis. The presented mechanism is proposed by the author of the paper. The cause of the crisis is attributed to the discrepancy between a function of economic growth and a function of a rise in economic indebtedness. Such a situation is the result of the way of creating deposit currency (money as debt). If the indebtedness of economic entities is high, the money is transferred from a production zone to a speculative zone, which directly causes the crisis.
