Abstract
Synthesis of 1-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-(naphthalen-1-yl)-4, 5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole [FNDI] and its characterisation by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, mass spectral studies and elemental analysis were carried out. Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FT-IR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and Powder X-ray Diffraction (PXRD) were used to distinguish the formed PI (Phosphated Imidazole) and magnetic nanoparticles bounded by PI, and also their features that are related photophysically were examined using emission spectra and steady-state absorption. The power of absorption and emission maxima were in an increasing order as, PI bound Fe2O3> PI > imidazole.
