Abstract

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common gastrointestinal illnesses and is characterized by altered visceral perception. In absence of demonstrable organic pathologies in patient of IBS on clinical examination and investigation, psychological factor have been attributed as causative factor.
