Abstract
The research of the ability to concentrate attention has been conducted in students with different types of higher nervous activity dependent on sex and age. In girls the domination of “excitatory” and “labile” types was found, while in boys the “labile” type of higher nervous activity was the dominant one. The analysis of concentration of voluntary attention for students of different sex and age dependent on the types of higher nervous activity showed that there was no weakening of voluntary attention in the course of learning process
