Abstract
Empirical findings of the study of motivational vision that parents have of social and educational potential of boarding school are presented. It is shown that parents take guidance not only from educational program, but from the whole package of social services offered by a boarding educational institution. Parental responsibility is executed through trust-based forms of control and communication environment which they consider to be an adequate substitution of real-life communication with children
