Abstract
The nature of management relations as power relations is analysed, explained and defined in the article. The main characteristics of power relations are determined, factors, predetermining their character are described. It is proved that power relations are an element of both social relationship system and human identity. The characteristics of obedience as the result of power relations are presented. Obedience is considered as a process, state and property of a personality. The “cost” and “value” of possible obedience – disobedience and possibility – impossibility to have powerful influence are analysed.
