Abstract

Vehicular Ad hoc network (VANET) is a collection of mobile nodes that are randomly located so that the connections between nodes are dynamically changing. In VANET mobile nodes form a temporary network without the use of any existing network infrastructure or centralized administration. In recent years, the study aspect of vehicular ad hoc network (VANET) is becoming an interesting research area characteristics led to the need for efficient routing and resource saving VANET protocols, to fit with different VANET Mobility environments. The aim of this paper is to give a survey of the VANETs routing Scenario, this paper gives an overview of Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs), the existing VANET routing protocols and the exiting two mobility Models. The paper also represents the general outlines VANETs, investigates different routing schemes that have been developed for VANETs, and providing classifications of VANET routing protocols within two classification forms and gives summarization.
