THE MOSAICS OF “UNDERWORLD”

In the article deals with monumental painting examples which take important place in esthetic decora- tion of Baku subway stations. The subway is a unique place for a lifelong lifestyle. With a functional strategic character, the subway represents a great deal of interest and aesthetic plan. Underground decorations of the met- ro station in Baku can be seen in the mosaic, inspired by the colorful mosaic, Florentine mosaic and a variety of decorative or sculptural elements. If some stations were restricted to simple designs, others were the true monu- mental artifacts of art. Here is founded description of mosaics which is suitable with each name of metro station. The uniqueness of the station is unlikely to be the case for the nearest architecture in the surrounding environ- ment and the time. They are arranged in a part of the subspace space
