Abstract
In the article the author analyzes scientific positions, legislation and jurisprudence on the definition of the object of such an offense as human trafficking (Article 149 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). It has been determined and argued that the direct object of human trafficking is a social relationship that ensures the freedom, personal integrity of a person and his honor.
