Abstract
The study has shown that toxocarosis is one of the most widespread invasions, and the acute form of disease in the vast majority of cases involves occult manifestations, which make it difficult to establish the correct diagnosis, delaying the appointment of specific therapy. The rate of acute forms was identified only in 6.6 % from the total of 999 subjects studied with visceral toxocarosis. It also shows an in-depth study of patients with acute forms, aimed at identifying clinical and laboratory features from the first weeks and months of the disease, followed by evaluation of the evolution peculiarities, depending on the type of treatment prescribed. There were analyzed the history of these patients and the syndromic diagnoses established before the final diagnosis was made.
