Abstract
The article is devoted to the current situation of energy cooperation between SOC member states. Par- ticular attention is drawn to the status and prospects of cooperation between China, Russian, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in the oil and gas sector. Russia occupies a special place among the industrial countries, and, having large oil and gas reserves, ranks among the world leaders in their extraction. Among the countries of Central Asia Kazakhstan has abundant natural resources, and cooperation in the energy sector is becoming the backbone of China-Kazakhstan relations. The potential of energy cooperation between China and Uzbekistan is enormous. Currently, Chinese companies in Uzbekistan have many cooperation projects in the field of oil and gas
