IKATAN KEKERABATAN ETNIS MINANGKABAU DALAM MELESTARIKAN NILAI BUDAYA MINANGKABAU DI PERANTAUAN SEBAGAI WUJUD WARGA NEGARA KESATUAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA

This purpose of study is to discuss the bonds of ethnic Minangkabau kinship in preserving and realizing their cultural values in the overseas as a from of NKRI. This study used a qualitative approach with variants study case. This results of this study imdicate that the ethnic of Minangkabau cultural values that are planted from their ancestors (Ethnic Minangkabau Surakarta) since the first or since they have not wandered into the city of Surakarta is still embedded well and firmly held up the values of its sanctity. It can be seen from the findings of research conducted that showed a sense of ethnic Minangkabau kinship in the overseas as in the city of Surakarta not a little faded. It can be demonstrated through the agendas that undertake by them, such as monthly gatherings, monthly meetings on the prospect of a restaurant business for the future, as well as other regional agendas that are still regional and upholding the ethnic Minangkabau cultural values they hold. In addition, Minang language is still used as communication among their ethnic. Minangkabau in overseas shows how closely the relationship of ethnic Minangkabau kinship in Surakarta. Surely this could indicate that the cultural capital they practice in the overseas like in Surakarta is strongly influenced by the Minangkabau cultural values they hold.
