Globalization is an era where life between countries is like no limit, because all become connected to each other. Many things can be done with the globalization, one of which is the widespread trade because of the effects of the digital era that accompanies globalisai. The question is about the traditional market in the era of globalization. For the future life will continue to grow. Especially after the emergence of the digital age that makes it easy for everyone to be able to do everything through his cell phone, including the ease of buying and selling. So will the traditional market business will survive, along with the development of modern markets. The author uses the Klewer traisional market as a place of study. So this paper hope can help the traditional market participants in Surakarta, especially Klewer to follow the current digital era so as not to lag behind the flow of globalization. Data collection methods used were field observation method, interview and supported by questionnaire spreading on 40 informants consisting of traditional market participants of Surakarta City to get information about responses from solution offered in research. The author concludes that so far the traditional market players are still a few who use online for buying and selling activities. Almost some traders claim to still be comfortable selling offline in this digital era, but based on the questionnaire there are 93% of respondents realize that now has entered the digital era and based on the results of in-depth interviews, also almost most of the informants realized the importance of online business as a form of goods distribution in the digital era. It is very remarkable to see the condition where traditional market participants have realized that the goods distribution process has now shifted from conventional to modern through the use of online business, but they have not much want to change or improve their business online. Because according to the results of research conducted by researchers is the lack of information and how the use of online distribution of goods that inhibit the desire of these traditional traders. So researchers provide advice by providing education through online business school education griya for traditional market traders in Klewer, as a solution for traditional market players in this digital era.
