Abstract
The article analyzes two directions of development of economic and legal thought in post-Soviet Russia. The main parameters of the liberal-civil law business school have been considered. The characteristic of the basic parameters of the modern school of economic law has been provided. It is shown that the current Russian economic legislation (civil, business, tax, monetary, etc.) acts as a braking mechanism.
