Abstract
The aim of the research was to evaluate the efficiency of therapy for HPV-induced proliferations of skin using аmiхin IC. Materials and methods. The study included 55 patients including those with plantar warts (14 people), flat warts (5 people) and simple warts (16 people). Patients were divided into 2 groups. The comparison group consisted of 20 patients who underwent only excision of HPV-induced skin proliferations, the main group included 35 patients who had excision of HPV-induced skin proliferations with liquid nitrogen combined with the amiхin treatment. Results and discussion. Efficiency of therapy one month after the therapy completion in the group of patients who took only monotherapy reached 70%, while in patients who took amixin ІС with the local therapy it reached 91%. The effectiveness of treatment on the day of the final observation (1 - 1. 5 year after) in patients who took only local treatment reached 51% with the absence of relapses, while in patients who took the proposed therapy, relapses were absent in 87%. In all examined patients no side effects were observed during the treatment with amixin ІС. Conclusions. The data on efficiency and acceptability of аmiхin ІС medication at complex treatment of papillomavirus infections of skin in 35 patients have been presented. Based on the data of the conducted research it was concluded that аmiхin ІС medication can be recommended for complex treatment of papillomavirus infections of skin.
