THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MEDICATED CORRECTION OF ANTIOXIDANT PROTECTION IN PATIENTS WITH GESTATOIONAL PYELONEPHRITIS

The aim of investigation was to study the effectiveness and antioxidative activity of the drugs based on dry hibiscus extract and deproteinization haemoderivative of calf's blood in the treatment of patients with the gestational pyelonephritis. Material and methods: 70 pregnant women with the gestational pyelonephritis have been examined. All of them were divided into two groups: the first group - 30 people, who had the traditional treatment (reconstruction of the urine passage, cephalosporins II or III antibiotics, spasmolytics in therapeutic doses). The second group consists of 40 people, which received medicine with the sicca hibiscus extract and deproteinization haemoderivative of calf's blood. Results. The using of the tradition therapy decreased clinic-diagnostic signs of illness, but high-level products of system lipid peroxidation and antioxidative protection remained indicating progress and chronization of pathologic process after the treatment. The using of sicca hibiscus extract and deproteinization haemoderivative of calf's blood has positive influence on clinical and laboratory measures and the increasing of lipid peroxidation process and the reduction the activity in the antioxidative protection system. Conclusion. The activity of lipid peroxidation process and the activity reduction in the antioxidative protection system was an important role in the process of chronisation and the gestational pyeloephritis progress. The general use of medicine with the sicca hibiscus extract and deproteinization haemoderivative of calf's blood in the complex treatment of patients with the gestational pyeloephritis lead to increasing the terms of normalization of clinic and laboratorial indices, which reactivated the process of lipid peroxidation and antioxidative protection.
