Abstract

The article focuses on the topical issue of the need for harmonization of work programmes of chemical subjects taught in various courses of the Pharmaceutical Faculty of a Medical University in order to improve the quality of training of pharmacists. The interdisciplinary linkages are defined by educational institutions independently, with regard to relevant exemplary basic educational programmes. In Ryazan State Medical University named after academician Pavlov I. P. the principles of continuity and of consistency in teaching of a range of subjects, including chemistry, are authorized at the meetings of Subject educational and methodological commissions and of Educational and methodological council of the university. The interdisciplinary linkages in students' teaching are important inasmuch as in professional system of pharmacists' training the chemical subjects are closely linked, this makes it possible for students to apply the knowledge of divers subjects to solve issues of professional activity, to implement pedagogical principles of continuity and of consistency in studying chemical subjects by future pharmacists. Furthermore, it makes the case for an analogical harmonization of plans of student science clubs in chemical chairs and for a programme formulation of student science conferences. The interdisciplinary scientific conferences, public speaking, the ability to gather and to process information contributes to the de-velopment of cognitive activity in socialization of the individual, given that any production activity depends on the knowledge and on the skills of a specialist and on a possibility to convert them into the engine of career development and of competitiveness. The harmonization of educational programmes of linked subjects accelerates the students' adaptation to specificity of one or another subject, improves at large the quality of students' training for future career and contributes to the development of a student's self-consciousness and motivation to study, stimulating the students' interest in training.
