Abstract

Haemophilia A is the most common and serious hereditary coagulation disorder. It is characterised by the deficiency of factor VIII involved in the intrinsic pathway of the coagulation. The ophthalmic manifestations of Haemophilia include subconjunctival haemorrhage, orbital haematoma, retinal and vitreous haemorrhage. We herein report a case of a newborn presenting as unilateral proptosis due to Haemophilia A.
