Abstract
Cerebral toxoplasmosis , well known as a complication in immunosuppressed patients, is the most frequent opportunistic infection of the central nervous system in the course of AIDS. We report a case of cerebral toxoplasmosis in a middle aged female with HIV infection, in whom the neurological symptom complex was the initial presentation. Here, we discuss the clinical course, serological investigations, CT and MRI findings and treatment of toxoplasma encephalitis (TE).
