Scholastic Achievement of Teacher Trainees in Relation to Language Creativity

Abstract
An attempt was made to s tudy the Scholas tic Achievement of Teacher Tra inees in relat ion to Language Creat ivity . The s ample co mpris ed of 100 teacher trainees (50 ma les and 50 fema les ) of Ludhiana Dis trict. The data was collected with the help of tools i.e Language Creativity Tes t (LCT-MK) by Prof. Dr. S. P. Malhotra and Ms . Sucheta Kumari (1990) and Scores of the previous results of teacher trainees will be taken from college records . A s ignificant pos itive relations hip was found between s cholas tic achievement and language creativity o f all categories of teacher trainees . A s ignificant difference was found between mean scores of scholastic achievement and language creativity of male and fema le teacher trainees . As mean s core of fe male teacher trainees is higher than ma le teach er tra inees , hence it may be concluded that fema le teacher trainees have higher level of s cholas tic achievement and language creativity than their ma le counterpart.
