SMALL SIGNAL STABILITY IMROVEMENT OF MULTI MACHINE POWER SYSTEM USING POWER SYSTEM STABILIZER

To accomplish increasing demand of electrical energy various power networks are interconnected. Change in load demand with adjustment in generation results oscillations of rotor in generator which restrict power transfer capability of network. So Aim of this paper is to find out local area modes and inter area modes oscillations using eigen value analysis. Suggest the suitable location for power system stabilizer using bar chart / participation factor analysis. In this paper we use MATLAB integrated power system toolbox to analyze different test system like (1) Two area test system (2) WSCC test system
