Abstract
This article estimates potential applications of the developed thermoelectric cooling generator of internal combustion engine for vehicles of various types. The power of the developed generator is 800 W. This value is very high for current level of development of thermoelectric generators, thus providing possibility of competiveness. In addition, structural analysis of expected markets is provided, such as automobile, railroad and shipping transport, as well as stationary generator assemblies and calculated economic efficiency of thermoelectric generator during vehicle operation lifetime. The obtained estimation of environmental and economic efficiency of thermoelectric cooling generator in vehicles with consideration for eliminated environmental damages resulting from harmful emissions with waste gases demonstrated significant cumulative profit.
