Abstract
The article explores the life and work of Olexander Zhukovsky, the famous Ukrainian state and political figure, in the years 1917-1918. It highlights his participation in the Ukrainian General Military Committee, as well as the work on the creation of the armed forces of the Ukrainian People’s Republic as a military minister.
