Abstract
The memoirs on the Ukrainian Revolution (1917-1921) are considered. The author’s composition of memoirs of the main political forces such as nationally oriented and bolshevik forces, white movement is analyzed. The article highlights the main genres. The necessity of a comprehensive study of memoirs sources as the most traditional and massive means of accumulation, preservation and transfer of historical and national memory is indicated.
