Psychological protective mechanisms of the person convicted, prone to addictive behaviors: diagnosis and correction

The article deals with psychological protective mechanisms of the personality of convicted persons prone to addictive behavior. Special attention is paid to the elimination of destructive ways of their psychological protection. It is proved that convicts with specific properties tend to use certain protection mechanisms as a means of distorting reality, which is peculiar to specific serious personality disorders, including addictive behavior.
