Abstract
The goal of any state is to protect its history from distortions. To do this, the state has such a tool as criminal prosecution. The criminalization of attempts to revise history has at least one obvious advantage — accessibility for all citizens to understand that these acts are unequivocally banned and may entail very severe punishment for them.
