On the question of providing the access to the opened information of organs of state and municipal administration

The article discusses the relationship between the concept of democracy and the principle of information transparency of the bodies of state and municipal administration. The regulatory framework providing the access to the open data of the state and municipal bodies has been analyzed. The basic requirements for placing and updating the information, support, and maintenance of websites have been established. The criteria of evaluating the efficiency of the activity of state and municipal authorities to ensure access to public information have been specified in the article.
